Why us?

A lengthy Opinion Piece on Gaza refugees was printed as follows:

Interesting that the last sentence refers to a reply not received from the responsible minister.

I wrote an innocuous and brief response to the article as follows:

Matt Hayes: 'How NZ is blocking escape route from Gaza' (Opinion 24 April), arranges his comments under date headings. Nice approach, but shouldn't October 17 also be included? On that date Jordan's King Abdullah announced on behalf of both his country and Egypt, that neither country would accept refugees from Gaza.

It was not published, so where do I complain?
