Super Ministries, need Super Ministers

A lot of recent news suggests that the government believes that the creation of mega ministries and AI, will confer cost savings through staff reductions? Pity the cuts don't work both ways. The last mega grouping to be established was The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE). MBIE staff now service the needs of 17 ministers, of these 13 are in Cabinet and cover 21 portfolios. Surely Super Ministries can have Super Ministers? You know, the ones who can write their own speeches and media releases and reply individually to the thousands of constituent's letters that are received each year. Add in the time officials spend babysitting Ministers when they receive visitors and providing them with written 'talking points' to give the impression that the host has a vague clue about portfolio detail. Perhaps there is some wonderful AI development that will enable these wonders to come to pass. Oink! Oink! Flap! Flap!
